2008 Presidential Election--Democrats betrayed by DNC
You, the DNC, blew it. If the democrats lose this election it will be the fault of the DNC.
The 'Dream Team' included Hillary Clinton as V.P. and after stealing the nomination from her it was the least you could do.
As for Obama--if he had won fair and square I would have voted for him--he seems like a decent guy.
But, you the DNC, are manipulative, sexist, racist and most importantly UNFAIR.
You wanted Hillary gone since February. You are a bunch of men who decided it was too important an election to let the people decide it---AND YOU TOOK MATTERS INTO YOUR OWN HANDS.
That's what the Republicans did in the last 2 elections. THE ENDS DO NOT JUSTIFY THE MEANS.
I will be voting Independent now--for Ralph Nader. And I am not the only one.
It's a shame you only cared about what you, the DNC, wanted and ignored the wants of over 18 million Americans--the majority of the popular vote-- who clearly wanted Hillary.
I no longer believe that the Democratic party reflects democratic values of 'by the people, for the people.' And I am not the only one who feels this way.
Maybe in 2012 the Democratic National Committee will resist the desire to emulate the 'cheap tricks' of the Republican party and let the voters decide instead of manipulating to control outcomes.
I'd rather vote for an honest man--Ralph Nader-- than be part of the so-called Democratic party this election.
I won't vote for McCain but many disgusted Democrats will do just that.
But I, along with alot of other people I know, will be sending you a message this election---WE THE PEOPLE ARE SICK OF LIES AND MANIPULATION.
I, and alot of other people I know, can't in good conscience vote democrat this fall.
I, and alot of other people I know, still feel sick over the way you dissed Hillary and bent-over backwards for Barack. And I don't blame Barack for your mistakes but I won't pretend it's okay that you did this stuff to a good woman either. And I'm not the only one who feels this way.
Hillary and Bill both gave their all at the convention. But I won't be giving this dirty democratic lie my endorsement. And I know plenty of other people feel exactly this way.
Over 18 million people can't be wrong. But the DNC is wrong.
You want everyone to GO ALONG WITH YOUR SELFISH AGENDA.
I hope you learn from your mistakes by 2012.
